Alpha Course The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is relaxed, non-threatening, low-key, friendly and fun. It is about listening, learning, discussing and discovering. It is a place where any question can be asked - where no question is too simple or too hostile. Alpha is supported by all the main Christian Denominations. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people the opportunity to get to know each other better. This is followed each week by a talk looking at such topics as, 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?'. After each talk there is a time of discussion in small groups. At All Saints and The Ascension we have run the Alpha Course for several years, although at present we do not have a course running. We fully intend to do so again soon. Alpha is for everyone, especially, - Those wanting to explore Christianity. - New Christians. - Newcomers to the Church. - Those who want to brush up on the basics.
