8:00am Holy Communion Traditional and modern liturgiesset of words, music and actions, but without music.
10:15am Morning Service Mix of traditional and modern forms of service. The usual pattern over a month is: 1st Sunday - Morning Worship 2nd Sunday - Morning Communion 3rd Sunday - Morning Together 4th Sunday - Morning Communion 5th Sunday - Morning Celebration All ages share the first 15 minutes, then split up into separate age teaching groups to explore the week's theme. There is also a creche. Once a month (Morning Together) all ages are present throughout the service, often joined by Brownies, Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs & Scouts.
6:00pm Evening services This is our most informal and inter-active service. We often spend time discussing topics or praying in small groups, and there is a wide variety of different musical styles. We celebrate Holy Communion together on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Sunday Activities at The Ascension:
8:00am Holy Communion A traditional Holy Communion service on the first Sunday in the month only.
10:30am All Age Worship This is a friendly service with a different format on each Sunday of the month (Holy Communion usually on the second Sunday in the month). Children and young people play an active part in the services, and have special Bible teaching in 5 age-groups. A Crèche is available.
6:00pm Join with All Saints for the evening service.
